About FDS
We are entering our 5th year of operation. I have been blessed to be able to meet so many great people from all over the world and wish to thank all of you that have joined us for a tour through our beautiful mountains. I am always happy to share stories about the history of Fernie and the rest of Elk Valley passed on to me by family and friends but being able to learn about the rest of the world (near and far) through our guests is a privilege for us too!  Our tour package has been able to provide something for everyone and made us the most successful dog sled touring company around so Mush With Us ! Experience the Elk Valley wilderness, wildlife, local traditions, history and some pretty cool dogs too! Our sleds are made locally right here in the Elk Valley. Our snacks and food are a combination of home cooking and locally purchased or produced goods.

About Our Dogs
Our Kennel is at 24 dogs currently. They are all Alaskan Huskies. Thanks to Barkside Pets, they get the best food and treats around. They get very good care because we keep our kennel small. Our tours are designed with the number of dogs we have in mind because we wish to give our older dogs a respectful retirement they so rightly deserve. This is why the maximum people/tour is as is and will not be raised under any circumstances. So please don't ask because the answer to any request that could harm my dogs will always be NO! They love what they do and they can't wait to show you!
